ABOUT the South Bay CARES Website
The Purpose of this Website:
To inform the public regarding the potential dangers of The South Coast Project
(a development plan for reuse of the Palos Verdes Landfill) by disseminating information
from the media, the government, the business community, local organizations, environmental
research and out-of-area groups.
To encourage citizen participation in opposing the building of a golf course
on the site of the Palos Verdes Landfill.
